One of our nicest room is even nicer! We pushed out the back wall and made the bathroom larger, added a bubble-jet tub with subway tile (and a nice glass accent), repainted and papered with a beautiful grass cloth wallpaper that adds a touch of elegance. The other big addition is a gas fireplace to make your stay even more enjoyable.

If you didn’t need a reason to visit Maine already…….
Our Acadia Centennial Anniversary mugs are here. Our logo and the Park’s 100th Anniversary logo are on each side and make for a very unique mug. It’s from the same company that make our breakfast mugs, so they hold alot of coffee or tea, and keep it hot for longer.
For each mug sold, we will donate a portion of the proceeds to Friends of Acadia.

Our natural resources here on Mount Desert Island are plenty. It’s a beautiful place to both live and visit, and we were visitors for years before we moved here for good in 2004.
And while our natural beauty is easy to see, we also try to take care of our environment as well.
Did you know that Aysgarth was one of the first lodging establishments in the state of Maine to participate in the global soap recycle project by the Clean the World organization? We recycle our soaps and shampoos and Clean the Word recycles them.
We also offer a water cooler and complimentary water bottles for your use during your stay here at the inn.
C’mon, you know you want a water bottle, so make your reservation now…..!
